QUESTION :SIR  WHY IS THE EARTH NOT IN THERMAL  EQUILIBRIUM  WITH SUN ?

ANSWER : The earth is not in thermal equilibrium with sun ; because while earth is being warmed by absorbed  radiant  energy, it is also losing heat in various ways (eg re-radiation ,
Conduction , Convection and evaporation ). moreover ,they are not in PERFECT THERMAL CONTACT with each other.The average temperature of the earth is About 300 Kelvin(unit of temperature)
